CMST 1061 Art as Communication Exhibit In-Person
Visit the second floor gallery space to see Dr. Naomi Bennett's CMST 1061, Fundamentals of Communication exhibit.
For this project students in Dr. Naomi Bennett’s Fundamentals of Communication class explored the ways in which visual techniques, symbols imagery, and artistic composition communicate to the viewer. Each student was asked to create a Symbolic Self-Portrait that represented important aspects of their personal, social, and cultural identities. The exhibit you are seeing is the top ten from each of Dr. Bennett’s two sections of CMST 1061, selected by a jury of instructors from the Department of Communication Studies.
Runs from March 20th until April 2nd.
