BIO 1208 & 1209 Workshop - Intro to Research & LSU Libraries In-Person

Join LSU Librarians in this in-person workshop to explore different resources and research strategies that can help you be successful when researching biological science! Goals of this session include the following: 

  • Be able to articulate advantages of using LSU library databases. 
  • Be able to able to understand different databases will give you different results. 
  • Be able to define initial search terms. 
  • Be able to refine searches by adding search terms. 
  • Be able to use selected database to find primary source scientific articles. 
  • Be able to locate and utilize government information and documents for research related to topic. 

We'll be meeting in the LSU Main Library in Room 109 across from CC's coffee!
