Tales from the Field: Dr. Gary Balsamo, MPH&TM, DVM, Author In-Person
Dr. Balsamo will discuss his motivation for writing the book Some Things Dull & Ugly, a chronicle of his experiences in small animal practice. The book recounts his impatience in attaining financial goals, disappointment in missing family interactions, lack of fulfillment, and despair related to experiences with some clients. The narrative also explains his progression toward a career in public health and his subsequent professional fulfillment.
