Unmasking Brain Injury Exhibit

Unmasking Brain Injury Exhibit In-Person

The LSU School of Psychology, LSU Libraries, and Brain Injury Association of Louisiana (BIALA) have partnered to present Unmasking Brain Injury, an art exhibition featuring masks created by survivors of brain injuries. Visit the second floor of LSU Library to see the masks and read the survivors' stories.

The mission of Unmasking Brain Injury - Opens in new tab is to promote awareness of the prevalence of brain injury; to give survivors a voice and the means to educate others of what it’s like to live with a brain injury; to show others that persons living with a disability due to their brain injury are like anyone else, deserving of dignity, respect, compassion and the opportunity to prove their value as citizens in their respective communities. The exhibit is sponsored by TASS Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center.

For more information regarding the display and/or brain injuries, consider contacting:

An opening reception will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 4:30 PM-6:00 PM on the 2nd floor of LSU Library.
